With Lee's unexpected trip to Mexico City through work we were able to travel early for a few days vacation, supposed to have been a week of vacation followed by a week of work but with a delay in the project the vacation was extended to 2 weeks. JoAnne's travel diary is still being updates, posts will follow.
Day 1 (Saturday, June 9th) - Edmonton to Mexico City (via Houston)
Early (6:50am) but uneventful flight via United Airlines to Mexico City, with a 2 hour wait in Houston. Once in Mexico City it took about 20 minutes to clear customs and 40 minutes on the metro to get to the Mexico City Marriott Reforma Hotel, a very nice business oriented hotel in the city centre.
Day 2-13 (Sunday, June 10th to Thursday June 21st) - Exploring Mexico City
JoAnne's travel diary is still being updates, posts will follow.
Day 14 (Friday, June 22nd) - Parcial Workday for Lee and back to Edmonton for JoAnne
After breakfast, JoAnne finished packing and we took the metro back to the airport for JoAnne to head home (United Airlines to Edmonton, via Houston again). Once JoAnne was checked in Lee started working, taking a call from the airport before heading back to the hotel on the metro.
Day 15-20 (Saturday, June 23rd to Thursday June 28th) - Lee Mostly Working
Lee was mostly working, but did manage to take time on Sunday morning for the run along Reforma (on Sunday's Paseo de la Reforma is closed to vehicles until 2pm)..
Day 14 (Friday, June 29th) - Lee back to Edmonton for JoAnne
After breakfast, Lee followed JoAnne's path back home (United Airlines to Edmonton, via Houston again).
