Paris itinerary for Joanne & Lee (Draft but with a few pictures) ...
Day 1 & 2 (Friday, April 8th to Saturday, April 9th) - Travel to Paris (Edmonton to Toronto to Paris)
Flights via Air Canada -
Day 3 (Sunday, April 10th) - Louvre Museum
Day 4 (Monday, April 11th) - Paris Markets
After the evening at the Effiel Tower and a full day at the Louvre, were planning on starting the week of touring around the city by using our Paris Visite 5 day travel pass we prepurchased through RailEurope and taking a more relaxed look at the markets and churches before hitting more of the museums.
Day 5 (Tuesday, April 12th) - Day 1 of 3 days of Museums with our Paris Museum Pass (also from RailEurope)
Using the sample itineraries from Frommers's Paris Attractions and targeting a start in Ile de la Cite progressing through -
Day 6 (Wednesday, April 13th) - Day 2 of 3 days of Museums with our Paris Museum Pass
More museums (see Frommers's Paris Attractions for more info) -
Day 7 (Thursday, April 14th) - Day 3 of 3 days of Museums with our Paris Museum Pass
Thursday starts with the latin Quarter and progressing on to the Marais neighbourhood (see Frommers's Paris Attractions for more info) -
Day 8 (Friday, April 15th) - Versailles
After 3 days of 'heads down' museums its time for a more relaxing day by taking the RER Train out to the Chateau de Versailles, Louis XIV's lavish palice in the country, and adjoining Royal Gradens and Grand Canel
Day 9 (Saturday, April16th) - Wrapup day around the city
More shopping (as flea markets open again on the Saturday), souvenir hunting, getting to what 'must sees' we missed during the week and maybe a boat ride on the Seine.
Day 10 (Sunday, April 17th) - Travel Home (Paris to Toronto to Edmonton)
